📋 Description

• As a **Senior Software Engineer** reporting to the **Engineering Manager** in our **Product Development** team, your purpose will be to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality systems that empower beauty professionals worldwide. • You’ll work on new features, optimise system performance, and shape the architecture to support our growing platform. • You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to craft solutions that solve real-world problems for millions of users while driving innovation and continuous improvement in our codebase.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in **Python**. • Strong database management experience with **PostgreSQL.** • Expertise in writing comprehensive test suites and using automated testing frameworks. • Experience designing and implementing scalable architectures (microservices, event-driven systems). • Familiarity with **Docker** and building **CI/CD pipelines.** • At a minimum, we require **conversational-level English language skills**. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy. • It will also help you to have: • A passion for mentoring and guiding other developers. • Experience with **observability practices** (logging, monitoring, and alerting). • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with new technologies.
