📋 Description

• Pull, route, and secure network cabling (copper and fiber optic) in ceilings, conduits, and cable trays, including in sensitive environments (SCIFs, secure areas, government facilities) • Terminate copper cabling at patch panels, outlets, and keystone jacks • Assist in terminating fiber optic cables (LC, SC, or MPO connectors) and preparing fiber trays • Maintain compliance with red/black separation requirements during installation • Label, dress, and bundle cabling for neat, professional appearance and future serviceability • Perform continuity and certification tests on installed cables • Follow project drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions to ensure compliance • Maintain safe work practices in accordance with OSHA, NEC, and company policies • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Active Journeyman Electrician license • Minimum 3–5 years of electrical experience; structured cabling experience strongly preferred • Prior experience working in sensitive or controlled areas (SCIFs, secure government facilities, or defense projects) • Knowledge of NEC, TIA/EIA structured cabling standards, and red/black separation practices • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and cabling test equipment • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in ceilings or confined spaces
