📋 Description

• Perform autonomy stack installation and configuration on AMRs at factory sites • Integrate and validate hardware components including LiDARs, safety PLCs, motor drivers, and onboard compute systems • Configure and troubleshoot networking and communication systems (ROS-based or equivalent architectures) • Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and verify AMR functionality, safety, and performance before shipment • Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software integration issues together with factory engineering teams • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and deployment teams to ensure alignment on system quality and technical requirements • Maintain detailed installation records, FAT reports, issue logs, and technical documentation • Serve as the engineering liaison for partner customization requests and deployment-related technical coordination • Support hardware bring-up, integration testing, simulation, and R&D activities during non-FAT periods • Contribute to engineering change requests and continuous improvement initiatives across robotics systems and processes • Travel regularly to Shenzhen and work effectively with cross-functional teams across Hong Kong and Malaysia • Uphold engineering best practices, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures throughout the AMR production lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Computer Engineering • 2 - 5 years of experience in AMR, mobile robotics, or industrial automation environments • Strong understanding of robot hardware including motor controllers, encoders, LiDARs, and sensors • Proficiency in Linux, ROS, C++, and Python for robotics software development and integration • Hands-on experience with robot system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging • Familiarity with networking and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, and related systems is an advantage • Prior experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, or on-site deployment activities is highly desirable • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with local teams and manufacturing partners in Shenzhen • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities • Willingness to travel frequently to Shenzhen (up to 60% of the time) • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment
