📋 Description

• **Candidate will ideally be based in the Oxfordshire area due to key contracts the role supports, and must be prepared to work on projects nationwide.****** Breedon are a leading vertically integrated international construction materials group in Great Britain, Ireland and the United States, producing and supplying drystone, asphalt and ready-mix concrete. • ** • Breedon Airfields specialises in laying asphalt, of all types, on airfields throughout Great Britain. As part of the Technical Team, reporting to the Technical Manager, the role will be responsible for ensuring asphalt, both in terms of material and laying quality, meets specification and performance requirements, working in our mobile UKAS accredited laboratory.

🎯 Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have experience working in this field although this is not essential as applications are welcome from practical, numerate and literate individuals willing to apply themselves to the work and to take full advantage of the internal and external training available. • You will have a flexible, proactive and ‘hands-on’ approach to work with effective communication, problem solving and IT skills. You will be involved with customers and colleagues at every level in the business and therefore you should be able to work confidently and courteously within the team and on your own initiative.
