📋 Description

• Lead infrastructure design, implementation, and ongoing management across a globally distributed, fully remote organization • Oversee a broad portfolio of SaaS solutions spanning collaboration, productivity, security, endpoint management, and identity • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation that scale with the organization • Mentor and develop a geographically distributed IT team spanning the Philippines, Ukraine, and the United States • Serve as a critical operational partner to the VP of Security • Own the execution of compliance-related controls, evidence collection, and audit readiness activities in support of Brightfin’s ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications • Maintain rigorous SaaS governance practices — including access reviews, configuration baselines, and third-party risk assessments • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success to operationalize security and compliance requirements • Provide consultative technical leadership to the DevOps function, guiding infrastructure design, reliability strategy, and developer experience • Serve as a bridge between IT Operations and Engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leading teams and managing complex infrastructure • Proven experience leading IT operations functions in a SaaS or cloud-native technology company serving enterprise-scale customers or operating enterprise-grade environments • Hands-on experience executing against ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 compliance programs — including controls management, audit preparation, and evidence collection • Experience managing a complex SaaS portfolio, including vendor governance, access management, and third-party risk • Strong track record of building and leading high-performing, service-oriented teams • Meaningful experience with DevOps concepts and the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams • A genuine passion for AI and automation — and the practical experience to apply them to real operational problems • Excellent communication skills — equally comfortable presenting to executives and working in the weeds with technical teams • A leadership style that develops people, delegates effectively, and builds organizational capability • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire distributed, cross-cultural teams across multiple time zones.
