• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, and ensure accuracy by examining and analyzing accounting records, such as journal entries and bank statements. • Auditing and compliance: Conduct field and internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. • Financial planning and analysis: Analyze financial operations, develop forecasts, and provide strategic advice on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability to clients or management. • Tax services: Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals and businesses, and advise on tax planning to minimize obligations work with our Canadian external accountant. • Internal controls: Develop and maintain cost-finding, reporting, and internal control procedures within an organization. • Consulting: Advise businesses on financial risks and management practices. • Specialized services: Perform other duties depending on the specialization, such as forensic accounting, business valuation, or managing a team of accountants.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and advising clients. • Project management and leadership skills. • Proficiency with accounting software and technology, including AI and robotics process automation for efficiency. • A professional certification, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. • Experience 5 plus years Independent Contractor
