• Serve as the subject matter expert on all federal and state procurement processes, ensuring full compliance with FAR/DFARS or relevant state-level requirements. • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and joint ventures to strengthen bid competitiveness. • Lead complex bid submissions and manage all related documentation, compliance, and reporting. • Draft and negotiate comprehensive construction contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and scope addendums. • Review and negotiate client contracts to identify and mitigate risk, ensuring fair and favourable terms. • Drive the closure process—engage with clients, general contractors, and project managers to finalize high-value deals. • Maintain an organized follow-up process to ensure timely contract awards and signatures. • Leverage bidding platforms and industry connections to identify and pursue new commercial and government opportunities.
• Expert knowledge of construction contract law and proven experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements. • Strong background in government procurement, including FAR/DFARS or state-level regulations. • A track record of closing high-value commercial or institutional construction contracts—not just managing bids. • High financial and analytical acumen to assess viability and optimize deal profitability. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
