📋 Description

• Owning key components of the monthly close across multiple areas of the P&L, including payroll and royalty-related expense accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting within a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Preparing and reviewing complex journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on variance analysis • Investigating financial fluctuations, identifying root causes, and partnering with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies • Partnering directly with FP&A and business leaders to analyse expense trends, support forecasting activities, and provide actionable financial insights • Supporting accounting activities across the business while ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Assisting with the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and supporting technical accounting documentation • Helping to strengthen and improve internal controls, close processes, and financial reporting workflows • Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve accuracy, and streamline accounting processes • Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

🎯 Requirements

• You have at least 1 year of experience in a Senior Accountant role with demonstrated ownership of complex P&L expense accounts and balance sheet reconciliations • You have 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Public Accounting experience is strongly preferred • You are comfortable owning variance analysis end-to-end, including identifying issues, understanding drivers, and recommending solutions • You have experience partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Finance, or business stakeholders • You have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements • You possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail • You are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
