📋 Description

• Therapists help individuals, families, and couples address mental health challenges. • They provide therapeutic services such as counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification. • Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients based on individual needs. • Conduct thorough assessments to understand presenting concerns and formulate a treatment plan. • Utilize evidence-based interventions to develop coping strategies and improve well-being. • Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings and document all provided services. • Facilitate group counseling, family therapy, and individual sessions.

🎯 Requirements

• Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. • Holds licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state where they practice as a professional counselor or social worker. • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). • Must be willing to become licensed in additional states. • Must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services (training will be provided). • Expertise in diagnostic criteria for individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health issues. • Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods as they relate to mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services. • Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programs. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear reports. • Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone, telehealth, and personal contacts.
