📋 Description

• Review and stay updated on the status of client medical treatments throughout each phase of the treatment lifecycle. • Request and obtain medical and billing records, along with necessary affidavits. • Review medical and billing records for accuracy and completeness. • Contact medical providers and records/billing departments for status updates on records and affidavit requests, using Chartswap and direct phone calls. • Provide weekly status updates to the firm’s systems, tracking records and affidavits for each client. • Research and manage subrogation liens, including Medicaid/Medicare, Hospital Liens, and other related claims. • Manage a caseload of 30-40 active cases and handle an increasing caseload as needed. • Assist the Case Manager in confirming clients received necessary medical treatment according to providers’ referrals.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish. • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred). • Previous experience in a medical assistant, medical office, or healthcare-related role preferred. • Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred. • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Ability to work independently and take initiative. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
