📋 Description

• Lead cloud migrations. • Drive application containerization by leveraging Kubernetes to improve scalability and maintainability. • Disaster recovery planning and implementation. • Establish and promote Kubernetes best practices across the organization. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Apply AWS best practices to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architecture. • Participate in security audits and lead remediation efforts to maintain compliance and harden infrastructure. • Transition to immutable infrastructure to increase reliability and simplify deployment. • Expand usage of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. • Manage engineering backlogs and sprints, ensuring effective sprint planning and execution. • Mentor team members and lead upskilling initiatives to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, RDS, etc.). • Proven experience with GitOps tools—preferably ArgoCD—and a strong understanding of GitOps principles. • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes. • Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and experience with auditing and remediation. • Familiarity with immutable infrastructure patterns. • Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers. • Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming. • Experience merging or integrating teams and building a unified team culture is a plus. • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) is a plus. • Knowledge of FinOps techniques for cloud infrastructure is a plus. • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar is a plus.
