📋 Description

• Helps develop and implement government affairs strategies to influence healthcare policy in alignment with the company's objectives. • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and regulatory agencies. • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments at the local, national, and international levels. • Advocate for policies that enhance patient access to treatments and support innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry. • Collaborate with internal teams to assess the impact of proposed legislation and regulations on the company’s operations and strategic goals. • Prepare position papers, policy briefs, and other materials to communicate the company’s positions to external stakeholders. • Establish and nurture relationships with patient advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, and other key stakeholders. • Represent the company at patient advocacy events, conferences, and meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• University undergraduate degree in science or business as a minimum; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous. • Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, patient advocacy, or a related field within the healthcare or biopharmaceutical industry. • Proven track record of assisting in development and execution of successful government affairs and patient advocacy strategies. • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory, legislative processes and market access. • Fluent in German and English.
