• Design and continuously develop running times and scheduled headways for BVG bus services • Handle extensive analytical tasks to ensure a customer-oriented, transport-contract-compliant, and cost-efficient scheduled service • Create running-time specifications for the regular timetable using HASTUS • Analyze running times and define timetables with minute-by-minute headways, taking connections and cost-efficient service delivery into account • Design, develop, and conduct plausibility checks and changes to the regular timetable • Prepare timetable change requests for normal network operations • Assess cost-effectiveness and calculate the effort required for changes to the regular timetable • Evaluate medium- and long-term adjustments to transport service requirements • Analyze transport-contract-relevant key performance indicators relating to running-time and demand trends, punctuality, reliability, and connection security • Document and further develop running times and timetables with minute-by-minute headways • Develop requirements for vehicle needs and vehicle deployment • Process customer inquiries concerning the regular timetable service
• Completed training as a Skilled Public Transport Operator, qualification as a specialist in passenger transport and mobility, or several years of comparable professional experience • Professional experience in the transport industry is an additional advantage • Familiarity with transport planning systems such as IVU.suite, HASTUS, RBL/ITCS, or QKZ • Knowledge of the Berlin Roads Act, the VBB route network, the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), Book IX of the German Social Code (SGB IX), the Staff Representation Act (PersVG), the Berlin Equality Act (LGG), and the Regulation on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Companies in Passenger Transport (BOKraft) • Strong team, customer, and quality orientation, along with sound judgment • Flexibility, commitment, and strong self-management skills
