📋 Description

• Design and oversee refrigeration and refrigeration control projects in the commercial refrigeration industry • Evaluate system performance and implement upgrades or system replacements to reduce energy consumption and lower environmental impact • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to select and design systems that align with refrigerant regulations and corporate sustainability standards • Train younger engineers on basic system designs and emerging technologies • Effectively communicate design with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering • A minimum 3 years of experience in refrigeration design is required • Or an associate degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in refrigeration design who can show the applicability of the experience to the job description included • Strong knowledge of various refrigeration systems (i.e. DX systems, pumped secondary designs, and CO2 transcritical booster configurations) • Strong knowledge of refrigeration control systems • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Excel
