📋 Description

• Hiring engineers to build out both new and existing squads for the company, with oversight on all team members that get hired onto the squad • Solving problems for our largest and most valuable customers • Working on an initiative that is the growth engine for Calendly’s future success • Coaching, mentoring, and onboarding new engineering team members • Ensuring the career development, satisfaction, and productivity of the engineers on your team • Identifying future technical needs and creating plans to meet them • Providing feedback and guidance to help us continuously grow and scale

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers • 5+ years of overall development experience (you will be specifically managing a team that owns services and using Golang and RoR) • Deep proficiency with web application development and SaaS • Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects • Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts • Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies • Previous experience working within a balanced engineering and product team • Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
