• **What you'll do:** • - Provide technical direction and support during the development, construction, commissioning, and operation of renewable energy assets. • - Ensure all projects meet design standards and maintain high-quality engineering designs. • - Collaborate with customers, utilities, AHJs, and third-party consultants to support the design and engineering of complex projects. • - Stay abreast of industry developments, new project requirements, and emerging trends to inform project strategies. • - Share technical knowledge by coordinating with cross-functional teams throughout various project phases. • - Deliver design, modeling, and technical support from initial customer solution designs through to successful project implementation and operation. • - Model and optimize engineering designs, review engineering studies (load flow and short circuit analysis), create networking designs for site communication to meet project specifications and regulatory standards. • - Create preliminary 1-line for projects in development to depict equipment sizing and interconnection topologies. • - Provide technical support to O&M team for operational systems.
• **Who you are:** • - BSEE with a passion for power systems and renewable energy or equivalent experience. • - 5+ years of relevant experience in power generation including MV distribution systems. • - Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, codes, and standards. • - Experience with Battery storage systems (BESS) with or without PV projects coupled. • - Knowledge on Interconnection Application requirement in multiple ISOs. • - Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. • - Collaborative and able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • - A lifelong learner committed to staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving renewable energy landscape. • **Requirements:** • - At least 5 years of professional experience working in the renewables and environment industry, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions that accelerate the energy transition. • - Familiarity of renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency measures. • - Experience with energy generation technologies including one or more of the following: solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal, biomass, fuel cells, EV charging. • - Working autonomously on deadline-driven projects, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will ensure on-time delivery to stakeholders. • - Effectively manage multiple projects, consulting engineers and vendors, negotiate contracts and oversee schedules of deliverables • - Ability to travel to client sites as needed. • - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program. • **Recommended extras** • - Professional Engineering license, EIT or PE track. • - Field experience commissioning distributed generation equipment. • - Experience designing distributed generation, isochronous grids. • - SCADA Protections and Controls Experience
