📋 Description
• Ensuring that students achieve mastery of learning objectives • Provide guidance, instruction, and support • Manage the learning process and focus on students’ individual needs • Orienting students to their courses and communicating course and school requirements • Support homeroom students with general school information, schedule set-up, monitor student attendance and progress throughout the program • Provide small group and direct instruction to students of course content • Grade student work and enter grades into an online grade book in a timely manner • Hold Parent Teacher Conferences/ Check In Calls with homeroom families quarterly • Participate in State Testing- this includes but is not limited to: Proctoring throughout testing window and all other state mandated and school required assessments
🎯 Requirements
• Permanent California Residence (Must currently reside in 1 of the 42 counties we service students and hire in) • Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Single Subject Teaching credential with the Foreign Language: French subject authorization • California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC • Bachelor's degree • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organization and time-management skills • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint and experience using them in a professional capacity
