📋 Description

• Use state item specifications to write effective items for different projects • Independently conduct preliminary and content reviews • Lead educator content review meetings, rubric validation meetings, range finding meetings, data review meetings, and standard setting meetings • Write blueprints and translate them into item pool development plans • Lead math item pool development for a project • Independently communicate with state clients • May serve as a Math Content Lead for a project or a Team Lead for an internal team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field + 5-8 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields or a Master’s degree + 3-6 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields • Strong knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education and Education Assessment • Analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Skilled at collaboration • Required travel for this position ranges from 1 week to 8 weeks per year for 2-6 days at a time.
