📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and development of our Data platform. • Work closely with AI / ML Engineers to build intelligence and automation into all Canoe systems. • Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and data architectures in support of new Canoe product offerings. • Participate in cross-functional teams as Data Engineering’s representative. • Build observable systems and be an organization leader in operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least two in a Data Engineering role • Experience with SQL Databases and relational data modeling. • Experience working with data at scale. • A strong sense of ownership and accountability. • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies. • Great communication skills. • A history of working well with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience with our core technologies: Kafka(preferred), PostgreSQL or similar relational database, AWS or similar cloud service, Snowflake or redshift , Dbt (preferred), Airflow or similar orchestration tool.
