Canopy Planet Solutions also engages in research, advocacy, and fundraising, and provides tools and resources for brands to reduce forest risk and implement sustainable sourcing.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of strategic pathways to engage and transform the paper packaging sector • Develop and maintain relationships with pulp, paper and packaging producers • Support brand and corporate customers of paper packaging to implement purchasing policies • Lead or contribute to the development of key tools and communications outputs • Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams on organization priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in pulp and paper, wood product, agriculture residue, or adjacent commodity supply chains • Track record of building and managing external corporate relationships • Strategic thinker with the discipline to stay focused on organizational priorities • Entrepreneurial problem-solver comfortable navigating political and cultural complexity • Cultural competency and/or lived or working experience in China or other East Asian markets preferred • Fluency in Mandarin is an asset
