📋 Description

• Lead a team dedicated to building, scaling, and enhancing systems that improve our ability to detect and response to security threats. • Act as a technical leader, using engineering expertise to guide project direction, and execution. • Coach and mentor team members to support their growth and capability. • Ensure detection, logging, and automation systems remain top-tier within a polyglot cloud-native environment across a variety of tech stacks. • Balance delivering technical outcomes with cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team culture globally. • Collaborate closely with members across the Detection & Response (D&R) team, the wider security group and product engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements

• You have a strong engineering background with proven experience driving technical outcomes that strengthen detection and response capabilities in a high paced, global environment. • You bring hands-on experience in incident response, detection engineering, logging and alerting pipelines, and custom security automations. • You have experience delivering and maintaining detection and response capabilities in cloud-native environments (e.g. AWS, GCP). • You can showcase the ability to balance people leadership with technical decision-making, including guiding teams through complex projects and necessary trade-offs, whilst continuing to support each individuals' growth goals. • You possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with security, engineering, and product teams.
