📋 Description

• Build, evaluate, and improve ML ranking models for private, team, and brand content search • Drive relevance and recall improvements focused on enterprise user outcomes • Work on intelligent result understanding, search recovery, and exact title matching • Contribute to indexing using ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, vector search, and annotation technologies • Extend private and brand search quality and coverage into agent-driven search • Investigate and resolve production search quality or relevance regressions • Own scoped projects end-to-end from problem framing through measurable shipped impact • Experiment and iterate based on learnings • Collaborate with Backend Engineers • Communicate technical trade-offs and share knowledge across the team

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping ML systems in production • Experience ideally in search, ranking, LTR, or relevance • Ability to define and improve relevance, recall, and ranking quality metrics • Ability to take scoped projects from idea to shipped outcomes with minimal guidance • High autonomy and comfort with ambiguity • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly, including to non-technical stakeholders • Knowledge of ML ranking models, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, vector search, and annotation • Willingness to learn; specific educational credentials are not stated
