📋 Description

• Designing and delivering scalable systems that are simple to use, easy to maintain, and built to last • Collaborating across a dozen Infrastructure teams to create a seamless, end-to-end platform experience for every Canvanaut • Driving clarity in ambiguous situations and taking a hypothesis-driven approach to testing out new ideas • Partnering with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and tech leads to deeply understand challenges and drive strategic initiatives forward • Mentoring engineers while fostering a culture of simplicity, reliability, and continuous innovation

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of advanced coding proficiency in Python/Golang/Java and strong Object Oriented Programming fundamentals • Strong Computer Engineering / Science knowledge around fundamentals and first principles relating to concurrency, multithreading, data structures, architecture, and various design patterns • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure ( AWS preferred, or GCP) • Experience delivering improvements in developer tooling and environments at scale • Passionate about eliminating friction and cognitive load for fellow engineers • Write clean, maintainable code and are comfortable working across the stack • Great collaboration skills and love working cross-functionally with engineers, PMs and technical leaders • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and excited by Canva’s hypergrowth • Hands-on experience using AI in coding/programming to drive greater impact
