📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize Looker semantic models to enable trusted self-service analytics and AI-powered insights using Gemini • Partner with business and data teams to migrate and enhance reporting capabilities from Power BI to Looker • Analyze and map existing Power BI datasets, measures, and queries into Looker semantic models • Develop and maintain LookML models, including views, explores, dimensions, and measures • Optimize LookML performance, usability, and scalability • Align semantic models with enterprise Knowledge Catalogs and governed Data Products • Enable Gemini-powered analytics experiences through well-structured and trusted semantic layers • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting assets

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Looker and LookML development • Experience migrating or translating Power BI semantic models and business logic • Proficiency in SQL and dimensional data modeling • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery • Familiarity with Gemini, conversational BI, and AI-assisted analytics capabilities • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and semantic layer design • Experience with Git and CI/CD practices for analytics development
