📋 Description

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and monitor the company's general ledger to ensure accurate and timely month-end close. • Lead the ASC 606 revenue determinations and accounting treatments. Collaborate across teams to review revenue recognition policies based on contract reviews. • Work closely with the Senior Director of Accounting to lead and complete annual external audits and tax filings. • Assist with the development, review, and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation. • Review, approve, and prepare account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy of postings. • Review and process all intercompany and subsidiary transactions. • Coordinate with management and employees to ensure compliance with accounting policies. • Support stock compensation reporting requirements. • Identify and lead process improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness, and timeliness of financial reports. • Mentor and support staff regarding the handling of non-routine transactions. • Support cross-team special projects.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Payable • Experience in the clinical research industry a plus • Experience with implementing and/or managing expense reporting software and accounting software a plus
