📋 Description

• Performing accounting of assets, liabilities and business operations of the nonprofit organization • Participating in the development and implementation of measures aimed at ensuring financial discipline and the efficient use of resources • Receiving and controlling primary documentation related to the relevant accounting areas and personnel records • Recording in the accounting system all transactions involving the movement of fixed assets, inventory and cash • Providing management with accurate and reliable information in the relevant areas of accounting • Developing the chart of accounts and preparing primary accounting documents for recording transactions • Participating in the economic analysis of activities to identify internal reserves and improve document flow • Preparing accounting data for reporting purposes and ensuring safekeeping of documents • Performing activities related to the creation, maintenance and storage of accounting databases

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Accountant, including experience with nonprofit organizations, charitable foundations, or public associations • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field • Strong knowledge of Ukrainian accounting and tax legislation, particularly as it applies to nonprofit organizations • Hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, including fixed assets, inventory, accounts payable and receivable, cash transactions, and primary accounting documentation • Experience in preparing accounting and financial reports • Experience in processing and verifying primary accounting documentation • Experience working with grant funding, donor-funded projects, or international projects • Proficiency in accounting software (1C/BAS or similar) and MS Excel • High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent organizational skills • Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines • English proficiency at Pre-Intermediate level.
