📋 Description

• As a (Junior) STACKIT Architect, you will work on exciting sovereign cloud projects based on STACKIT and become familiar with modern cloud standards of the future. • You support clients in the public sector as well as in industry in designing, implementing and evolving their sovereign cloud platforms with STACKIT. • You contribute to the design of modern cloud architectures — from container platforms to AI workloads. • You will learn to operate sovereign cloud solutions securely, scalably and reliably. • You work closely with experienced architects and gradually take on more responsibility. • You support automation (IaC), monitoring & observability, and contribute your own ideas. • You communicate clearly with customers and contribute to structured documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a STEM discipline or equivalent qualification, with enthusiasm for cloud and platform technologies. • Initial experience with cloud platforms such as STACKIT, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud — and a strong willingness to learn. • Basic knowledge of containers (Kubernetes), Linux and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible). • Interest in sovereign cloud, security & compliance (e.g. GDPR, BSI C5). • Curiosity about automation, GitOps and modern deployment methods. • Strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to continuous development. • Good German and English language skills. • Willingness to undergo security checks and to travel occasionally and, if required, to carry out regular on-site assignments at our clients in Germany.
