• Identify trends impeding academic success. • Conduct targeted outreach and provide instruction to target groups and individuals. • Build capable learners, confident in their ability to succeed academically and in life. • Mentor students and facilitate teaching/learning experiences. • Communicate regularly with students regarding their participation and performance, and carry out outreach efforts to ensure effective instruction and mentoring throughout the course. • Utilize university and department-level procedures and materials to mentor and teach students.
• Master’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. • Professional experience in Business, Human Resources, Recruiting, Career Advising and Training, or related work. • Current understanding of employment and hiring trends (required). • Fluency in English and Portuguese (required). • Adaptability to new processes, procedures, and technologies. • Excellent interpersonal skills: professional, respectful, and unbiased in sensitive situations. • Proven reliability and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, video conferencing, and discipline-specific software. • Experience with online teaching/learning, especially with at-risk learners (preferred).
