📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain the core backend platform, including microservice frameworks, libraries, asynchronous inter-service communication and media handling • Proactively work with engineering teams to identify gaps and address them • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and propose and implement solutions • Ensure high availability and application security of services • Set high standards for engineering design and code quality • Utilize AI agents to automate repetitive coding tasks and generate comprehensive test suites • Employ AI-powered tools for code analysis and vulnerability detection • Integrate AI-driven insights into performance monitoring to identify and address potential bottlenecks

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with relevant experience in platform or product engineering • Experience with microservice architecture and exposure to consumer scale systems • Strong knowledge of modern technologies and hands-on coding experience with either Go, C++, Python or Java • Experience working in a cloud environment and strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals • Ability to speak and write succinctly and clearly • Customer obsession and empathy • Willingness to learn new technologies and build expertise as needed • Focus on impact and results • Drive and resourcefulness to persevere and overcome obstacles while achieving challenging goals • Track record of successfully solving problems with quality and speed • High integrity and ability to positively collaborate with others • Good to have: Exposure to Kubernetes and Service Mesh architecture • Good to have: Experience with gRPC and protobuf • Good to have: Experience with datastores including Cassandra, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch, Message Queuing with Kafka, and Backstage
