📋 Description

• The Data Security Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for end-to-end management of iFood’s corporate and production data security programs. • This position operates at the intersection of security strategy, people leadership and business enablement. • The Data Security Manager leads a team of specialists, drives the adoption of AI across the Data Security function, and ensures that data protection capabilities keep pace with iFood’s growth. • Promote a high-performance culture: celebrate deliveries, conduct blameless post-mortems and create psychological safety. • Own the strategy for DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access). • Define and enforce data classification policies and handling procedures for internal users and third parties. • Lead reviews of production data security architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in people leadership: 3+ years managing and developing a team of security specialists or analysts, with demonstrated success in talent retention, succession planning and performance management. • Strong experience in data protection, DLP, ZTNA and information security governance — with a track record of strategic responsibility for a Data Security domain. • Solid understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles and their practical implementation: ZTNA, conditional access, device posture and identity-based segmentation. • Deep knowledge of hardening corporate SaaS security: Google Workspace, Salesforce, Databricks, other platforms and emerging AI-based platforms. • Knowledge of data architecture concepts: APIs, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, cloud data platforms and production data exchange patterns. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: LGPD, GDPR, PCI-DSS and regulatory requirements from BACEN and PROUF. • Hands-on experience with AI tools for Data Security: anomaly detection, automated classification, DLP tuning or accelerating investigations — with documented, tangible and measurable results. • Strong analytical and investigative skills: ability to trace a data leak from signal to root cause and translate findings into systemic recommendations. • Executive communication: comfortable presenting to C-level executives, drafting board-level risk updates and translating technical risks into business-impact language. • Strategic planning: experience building multi-year security roadmaps, managing program dependencies and reporting progress to senior leadership. • Budget management: experience forecasting and justifying investments in security tools and headcount. • Cross-functional influence: ability to drive results without formal authority, navigating conflicting priorities across Legal, Engineering, Product and IT. • Advanced English (required).
