📋 Description

• Own AI product builds end to end, from concept through production, on client engagements • Decide what to build and how by gathering requirements, challenging stakeholder requests, and prioritizing high-impact work • Prototype quickly with LLMs and harden solutions for production with data pipelines, integrations, and evaluations • Perform enterprise data engineering, including ingestion, data modeling, and ETL • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, collaborating with their engineers and explaining technical matters to executives • Instrument products with analytics, funnel metrics, and error analysis, then iterate based on real usage • Own reliability, security, and cost, including authentication, secrets, PII handling, and cloud-cost management • Document lessons learned for the team, clients, and public audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals in programming, debugging, and system design • Experience shipping a real LLM product with actual usage, ideally including error analysis and evaluations • Data engineering experience with data modeling, architecture, and ETL/pipeline tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Inngest, Prefect, or similar • Web and infrastructure fundamentals, including authentication, web security, query profiling, CI/CD, and cost-aware deployment on a major cloud • Daily use of modern AI tooling such as Claude Code with customized workflows • High agency and ability to frame ambiguous problems, state assumptions, and advance work independently • Strong writing skills and a high say:do ratio • TypeScript fluency is a nice-to-have • Depth in financial services, healthcare, or enterprise/contact-center AI is a nice-to-have • Senior-level client-facing experience is a nice-to-have • Experience building observability for an AI product is a nice-to-have • Applied-AI community involvement is a nice-to-have • Experience building and deploying a product from 0→1, achieving real usage, and iterating • T-shaped expertise, with depth in ML, full-stack, data, or security • Experience as a solo or founding engineer owning outcomes
