📋 Description
• Be part of our Global Engineering Network! • Perform hands-on configuration, management, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments using VMware and Proxmox. • Manage physical server hardware, including BIOS configuration and firmware updates. • Implement and manage RAID configurations for optimal performance and data integrity. • Apply strong knowledge of DVB standards, with a focus on DVB-C, to support and enhance our cable television services. • Navigate, interpret, and audit Checkpoint firewall rules to ensure secure network segmentation and service access. • Manage and support the Verimatrix CAS platform. • Configure, operate, and troubleshoot AWS Elemental live and file-based encoders. • Administer and support the Broadpeak CDN portfolio, with specific hands-on experience on BKM-100, BKS-450, and BKS-350 products.
🎯 Requirements
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position • Hands-on experience with VMware, Proxmox, server configuration, and RAID management. • Must have experience with Broadpeak, specifically the BKM-100, BKS-450, and BKS-350 products. • Proficiency with AWS Elemental encoders. • Knowledge of Verimatrix CAS for both DVB and IPTV environments. • Advanced knowledge (ideally above CCNA level) is mandatory, specifically regarding Multicast. • Ability to navigate and interpret Checkpoint firewall rules. • Knowledge of DVB, particularly DVB-C
