📋 Description

• The Tools Support Specialist will work on an exciting set of products to help progressive organizations run more effective voter contact programs. • This position will offer a unique opportunity to help support enterprise class data processing and analytics for the progressive community. • The Tools Support Specialist is a member of the Technology Development team that supports Catalist staff by providing expertise on the Catalist suite of applications and data, serving as Tier One support for all applications and APIs developed by Catalist. • Additionally, the Tools Support Specialist assists in developing internal audits and reports around application and data usage, both internally and by clients. • This position reports to the Director of Integrations & Tools Support and works closely with the Technology, Data, and Client Services teams. • This position is included in our CWA bargaining unit.

🎯 Requirements

• BA in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Political Science, or other technical discipline or equivalent experience • Interpersonal and written communication skills for the purpose of achieving clarity and shared understanding of tasks and issue dispositions and resolution • Time management skills, with the ability to meet service-level agreements on support ticket dispositions • Ability to handle and deliver on multiple simultaneous task assignments • Conversant skill with web-based data management tools • Familiarity with tabular data file formats such as MS Excel, CSV, or TSV • Strong SQL skills • Background check required • Experience using Catalist software • Proficiency with scripting languages (bash, python) and reporting software such as Tableau • Comfortable with structured data file formats such as JSON or XML
