📋 Description

• The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is a key leader in ensuring that all quality policies and practices are consistently implemented across construction projects. • This role provides technical expertise, leadership, and coordination in all areas of quality management while collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. • The QCM develops and administers quality-related policies, procedures, and initiatives to deliver compliant and exceptional results. • Develop and enforce project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs). • Work collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors to meet quality goals. • Conduct site visits, inspections, and constructability reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications. • Lead the Three Phase Inspection process, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up phases. • Chair and document preparatory and weekly QC meetings with internal and external stakeholders. • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and contract documents to ensure conformance with project requirements. • Provide training and coaching to project teams to identify and mitigate quality-related risks. • Maintain records of quality control activities and non-conformance logs (NCRs) and ensure timely resolutions. • Act as the primary Quality Control representative, overseeing all QC functions to avoid delays and maintain schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 6 years of construction experience in a quality control management role. • Proficiency in Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, and MS Office. • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, best practices, and the International Building Code (IBC). • Proven experience with diverse project types and the ability to delegate and supervise tasks. • Strong analytical skills and systematic thinking with exceptional organizational capabilities.
