📋 Description
• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes. • Understand survey field notes and sketches to create or update designs. • Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings. • Generate bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for design. • Complete assigned work while maintaining quality, accuracy, and efficiency. • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and QC team to meet deadlines.
🎯 Requirements
• 1-8 years of experience in designing fiber optic (FTTx), HFC, EPON, and coaxial communications systems. • Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software. • Fluent in English. • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Superior time management and attention to detail. • Prior experience designing cable TV, RF, and Fiber. • Experience with ArcGIS, Bentley v8i, SpatialNet, Magellan, LODE Data, GE Smallworld, and/or ArcFM preferred.
