📋 Description
• Managing and contributing to high impact projects related to school quality • Creating, curating, and disseminating resources that help members get renewed • Strengthening school quality and performance and fueling advocacy to reinforce fair renewal policy • Interpreting the analysis of multiple student outcome measures and translating data into coherent data stories • Consulting with members on the use of data in charter renewal processes • Developing and project managing programming for high-impact events that serve charter school leaders
🎯 Requirements
• Five plus years of experience working in education, ideally at charter schools. • Demonstrated commitment to outcome-based accountability and experience in using school-based, data-driven decision making to create continuous improvement in student performance. • Proven record of success in improving outcomes for students. • Expertise in using data to create instructional change that leads to stronger student outcomes, and in supporting adult learning and leadership development. • Understanding of Californias statewide assessment system (e.g. CAASPP), the California Dashboard, and state accountability as they relate to charter schools. • Understanding of school-based performance management systems (e.g., criterion-based assessments, norm-reference assessments, school climate surveys, etc.), their intended purposes, and how they should be applied. • Familiarity with charter school authorizing and charter renewal policies - preferred
