📋 Description

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for internal Regional Sales Executives and Analysts on all matters related to absence, disability, and leave programs • Provide expert consultation on the design, compliance, and management of group disability, FMLA, and paid leave programs for large, complex clients • Assist in developing and presenting strategic recommendations to brokers/clients, helping them navigate compliance risks and optimize their programs • Enable the sales and renewal process by providing deep technical analysis and collateral that supports the strategic recommendations presented by Regional Sales Executives and COE leadership • Provide direct support to the Director of Absence Consulting by preparing presentation materials, summarizing research findings, and assisting with key COE initiatives • Contribute to Centro's leave and absence thought leadership content by conducting research, drafting content for white papers and benchmarking studies, and analyzing emerging trends • Assist with the vendor procurement and negotiation process, including managing RFIs/RFPs, analyzing proposals, and auditing vendor performance to ensure service level agreements are met • Support the internal analyst team by serving as the ultimate subject matter expert on vendor comparisons

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred • 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits field, with a direct focus on designing and managing group absence and disability plans • Deep working knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, and state PFML programs • Strong financial acumen with experience in the analysis of group disability proposals, carrier rate calculations, and renewal projections • Ability to influence and effectively interact with agency producers, account executives, and members of the C-suite • Strong attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel and PowerPoint • Familiar with database applications • Valid life and health insurance license, required • Regional travel required
