📋 Description

• Support our Texas caseload as a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal • Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery • Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process • Drafting Discovery Responses • Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence • Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses • Conducting status update calls with clients • Client update calls • Assisting in trial preparation

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury is required. • Requires litigation experience in at least one additional state: Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, or California. • Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery • Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process • Drafting Discovery Responses • Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence • Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses • Calendaring litigation timelines • Conducting status update calls with clients • Client update calls • Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests • Assist in trial preparation • Verified litigation experience in Texas plus additional states. • Experience with eFileTexas and familiarity with Texas discovery deadlines (Rule 194/196/197) strongly preferred.
