• Develop and implement the company's legal strategy to align with business objectives and global regulatory requirements. • Provide strategic legal advice to senior management, particularly regarding IPO considerations and corporate governance matters. • Oversee corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance with international laws, regulations and corporate policies. • Monitor changes in governance standards and recommend adjustments to internal practices as needed. • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and ensure the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. • Establish and maintain compliance programs to mitigate legal risks associated with IPO processes and ongoing operations. • Lead contract negotiations with senior stakeholders, ensuring favourable terms and risk mitigation. • Collaborate with internal teams to develop contract strategies that align with business objectives and legal requirements. • Facilitate the IPO process by coordinating with external advisors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with IPO requirements and manage legal documentation and filings accurately and efficiently. • Oversee the management and protection of the company's intellectual property portfolio on a global scale. • Implement strategies to safeguard intellectual property rights and enforce legal protections as necessary. • Maintain accurate corporate records and documentation, including board meeting minutes, shareholder agreements, and regulatory filings. • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and facilitate audits related to IPO processes. • Develop and implement crisis management plans to address legal and reputational risks effectively. • Manage disputes and litigation matters, overseeing external counsel and representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field required; Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred. • 10+ years of experience in legal and corporate affairs ideally wiithin a SME tech bsuiness. • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify legal risks and develop proactive solutions. • Integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical conduct and compliance. • n-depth knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions. • Experience in managing corporate governance practices and overseeing complex corporate transactions. • Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting, with a track record of successful negotiations with senior stakeholders. • Familiarity with IPO processes and requirements, including legal documentation and regulatory filings. • Strong understanding of intellectual property law and effective strategies for protecting intellectual property rights globally.
