📋 Description

• Develop, propose, maintain, and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models using SAP PowerDesigner • Ensure data structures are normalized by eliminating redundancies and guaranteeing logical consistency in the database • Manage and ensure metadata quality, supporting the corporate data management and governance methodology • Design and develop architecture for data services across relational, analytical, and NoSQL ecosystems, supporting BI and Big Data applications • Collaborate with DBAs on physical implementation, table partitioning, and database performance optimization, including VLDBs • Specify integration mechanisms, such as ETL processes, database links, and services • Develop SQL scripts for validations and reporting • Process and manipulate VSAM, CSV, TXT, JSON, XML, relational, and NoSQL data sources • Provide consulting, support, and mentoring to business teams, promoting BI best practices and continuous process improvement • Work on large-scale projects and complex corporate environments at Certsys, a technology company specializing in IT solutions and services

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical—relational and multidimensional) • Practical proficiency with SAP PowerDesigner • Proficiency in SQL, DDL, DML, DCL, Transaction SQL, and SQL*Plus • Knowledge of and experience in administering and modeling relational and NoSQL DBMSs, including Oracle, DB2, Sybase, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, InfluxDB, and Apache HAWQ/Impala • Experience using the Informatica suite: PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Data Quality, and Metadata Management • Knowledge of and experience with integration architectures, including ETL specifications, database links, and DBMS-based services • Experience with VLDBs, performance analysis techniques, and table partitioning • Proficiency in agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, XP, and the Agile Manifesto • Familiarity with statistics, predictive models, and probabilistic analysis • This position is also open to applicants with disabilities
