📋 Description
• Oversees calculating, posting, and verification of financial data • Supervises accounting staff in day-to-day operations of accounting functions • Ensures all analysis and reporting are accurate and compliant with accounting policies • Review and approve journal entries ensuring timeliness and accuracy • Ensure timely and efficient month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes • Maintain the integrity of accounting records • Supervise and develop Accounting staff • Adhere to Federal and State laws and regulation
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent • 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience • 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains desirable • Exposure to insurance systems and knowledge of insurance desirable
