📋 Description

• Lead the company’s engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, U.S. regulators, and other influential policy stakeholders • Build trusted relationships with policymakers and key staff while advancing thoughtful, business-oriented policy solutions • Develop company positions on legislative, regulatory, appropriations, and public policy issues • Anticipate policy developments and translate complex legislative and regulatory activity into actionable business strategy and executive recommendations • Represent Chainalysis in meetings with policymakers and key staff, industry coalitions, regulatory consultations, and conferences • Prepare executive leadership for meetings with senior government officials through strategic briefing materials

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in U.S. government policy programs in fast-paced environments • Substantive experience in emerging technology, financial services, or national security policy • A command of how Congress and the Executive Branch work • A track record of driving successful policy initiatives to achieve enterprise-wide results • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multiple types of cross functional teams • Experience creating executable plans with measurable outcomes from broad strategic objectives • A strategic thinking orientation with sound political instincts • Experience working with lobbyists, trade associations, and coalition strategies • An understanding of and interest in digital assets • Excellent judgment and the ability to balance operating autonomously with leadership guidance • Exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills
