• Develop, maintain and validate dynamic simulation models for heat pump, refrigeration, air conditioning and thermal management systems. • Build and deploy simulation models using Dymola, Modelica, MATLAB/Simulink, Python and related engineering tools. • Perform thermodynamic system simulations and optimization studies focused on energy efficiency, refrigerant selection, system performance, control strategies and safety considerations. • Support OEMs and customers in understanding how Chemours refrigerants perform in their systems and what design changes may be required. • Analyze laboratory, field-test and customer data to validate models and improve predictive accuracy. • Provide technical recommendations related to refrigerant glide, pressure and temperature behavior, system efficiency and performance trade-offs. • Collaborate with customers, OEMs, suppliers, engineering partners and research organizations across Europe. • Prepare technical reports, simulation methodologies, engineering recommendations and customer-facing presentations.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics or a related technical discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in simulation and modelling of thermodynamic systems. • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, refrigeration cycles, heat pump technology and HVACR systems. • Hands-on experience with Dymola and/or Modelica simulation environments. • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python or similar engineering and scientific computing tools. • Experience developing, validating and optimizing dynamic simulation models. • Good communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in an international and remote team environment. • Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%, including occasional international travel within EMEA to visit customers, OEMs or internal teams.
