📋 Description

• Design compelling, clear UI/UX and produce high-quality mocks • Turn design mocks into pixel-perfect, production-ready frontends using modern web technologies • Improve existing interfaces through better layout, interaction quality, motion, and design consistency • Work closely with engineers, partners, and stakeholders • Support feature design and implementation end to end • Rapidly prototype and vibe code to explore ideas, gather feedback, and iterate quickly • Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and frontend patterns • Own and evolve components, tokens, and patterns in the design system • Use Cursor and Claude to build AI-first technologies • Prototype ideas and ship production polish end to end • Design interface layers for AI-native workflows, including streaming, long-running agent runs, and tool-calling surfaces • Write substantial amounts of code • Perform code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience prompting and building AI-native development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor as part of a daily workflow • Strong eye for polish and defensible, articulate taste in typography, spacing, layout, micro-interactions, transitions, and information density • Strong practical skills in modern web technologies, including TypeScript, Vue, React, or equivalent • Real experience building and owning a design system in code • Contributions to open source UI libraries or design resources • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a fully distributed team • Sense of ownership and responsibility • Strong UX and visual design skills with proven taste and craftsmanship • Ability to move between design tools such as Figma and frontend code • Background in internal tools, admin dashboards, or developer-facing products • Instincts for prompt engineering and LLM integration • Understanding of how model latency, streaming, uncertainty, and failure modes should surface in UI • Experience building AI-native interface patterns, including streaming output, agentic or long-running tasks, or tool-calling surfaces • Comfort designing or consuming APIs for front-end applications, with clean contracts, performance, and reliability at the boundary • Ability to work with at least 3 hours' overlap with the Eastern Time Zone
