📋 Description

• Own the AWS enterprise architecture end to end, including multi-account governance and guardrails, Transit Gateway topology, hybrid connectivity to on-premises data centers, centralized traffic inspection, hybrid DNS, and security posture • Write, defend, and revisit architecture decision records • Lead the operational team day to day through technical direction, design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions • Build CDK stacks, Lambda functions, and agent tooling • Design and extend delivery agents for intent decomposition, design artifact generation, implementation scaffolding, validation, and gate reporting • Author capability instructions so agents produce architecture-compliant work • Work within the Intent-Driven Framework using feature flags and fixed-scope delivery cycles • Modernize a live VB6 desktop application by moving functionality into cloud services while maintaining legacy operation • Deliver coexistence design through read-only replication, parity proof, and staged cutover • Lead platform evaluation for the external digital front and produce actionable recommendations • Design reusable external identity, tenancy, and API contracts • Explain architecture to client IT and security leadership and translate client constraints into design changes • Set technical direction, unblock engineers, and ship code hands-on

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive years in software engineering with architecture experience on production systems you were accountable for • Experience with serverless application architecture: API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, Cognito with SAML federation, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch and X-Ray • AWS CDK in TypeScript; knowledge of stack boundaries and construct design • Java and TypeScript proficiency • Java 25 with Spring Cloud Function on Lambda • React 19 with TypeScript • REST contract design, versioning, and backward compatibility • GitHub Actions with OIDC-based cloud authentication • Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG, and Agentic Frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK, Strands, LangChain, or CrewAI • Tool and MCP integration • Context engineering • Experience verifying agent output at scale • Experience shipping systems that had to coexist with untouchable legacy systems • Ability to pivot quickly in a changing environment • Understanding of the Agentic SDLC • Ability to build systems that reduce human intervention over time • AWS Bedrock and AgentCore are a plus
