📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with stakeholders and end users to understand the real pains, contexts, and motivations behind requests. • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the squad. • Map user journeys and business processes (current and future states), identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. • Facilitate discovery workshops to explore the problem before moving to a solution. • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to support product decisions and prioritization. • Translate complex business problems into clear scope definitions and objectives — without jumping straight to technical requirements. • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure the proposed solution addresses the right problem. • Validate hypotheses with real users before and after implementation (e.g., prototypes, proof-of-concepts). • Structure user stories following INVEST principles and BDD practices (Given-When-Then scenarios), ensuring requirements are feasible and testable, even during discovery phases. • Use accelerators (including AI tools) to support the formalization of user stories, freeing time for discovery and investigation work. • Present findings with clear visualizations (journey maps, process flows in BPMN, wireframes, scenario diagrams) for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Develop use cases; write, manage, and clarify user stories, visualizations, and process flows (BPMN). • Explain how requirements can be implemented from a functional perspective and how they can drive or improve the user experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Problem-solving mindset, not just requirements documentation: a genuine curiosity to understand the 'why' before the 'what'. • Strong experience conducting user interviews and synthesizing learnings into actionable insights. Experience with structured discovery methods: journey mapping, impact mapping, process mapping (BPMN), or service blueprints. • Ease in facilitating workshops and discovery sessions with multiple stakeholders. • Structured thinking, with comfort in ambiguity — able to handle ill-defined problems without needing all the answers upfront. • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to switch between business-level and technical conversations. • Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), INVEST criteria for user stories, and BDD/Gherkin syntax. • Openness to using AI tools as accelerators in day-to-day work (research synthesis, user story generation, documentation).
