📋 Description

• Support course scoping and initiation with the course development coordinator • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project staff to develop course concept notes • Lead training needs analyses and define learner profiles, learning gaps, and desired competencies • Define measurable, competency-based learning objectives and course outcomes • Analyze learning contexts, including technology, language, time constraints, and access • Develop comprehensive course outlines aligned with module outcomes, learning activities, and assessments • Coordinate consultations with subject matter experts and integrate feedback • Design blended online and offline learning activities as needed • Collaborate on course content and learning assets • Develop course prototypes capturing the look and feel and key interactive elements • Write detailed course scripts covering structure, narration, interaction logic, feedback, activities, assessments, and development instructions • Facilitate collaborative course-design approval processes • Build courses in selected authoring tools based on approved outlines and scripts • Obtain approval for alpha and beta course versions • Produce SCORM-compliant modules and integrate multimedia and interactive elements • Facilitate quality control, copy-editing, and translation of courses • Support course administration on the learning management system • Design course pages and define learner analytics • Pilot test courses and update them based on results • Support course marketing and outreach • Provide learner support and facilitate a supportive learning community • Design and facilitate surveys, interviews, and analytics to collect and analyze learner feedback • Produce evaluation reports • Oversee assessments and manage the certification process • Iterate and improve learning experiences using evaluation data and learner feedback • Maintain detailed records of the design process

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in sustainable land management, restoration, and landscape finance • Experience with online and blended learning design and development • Ability to conduct training needs analysis and define learner profiles, learning gaps, and desired competencies • Ability to design competency-based curricula, measurable learning objectives, course outcomes, assessments, and learning activities • Knowledge of relevant learning theories • Ability to assess learning contexts, including technology, language, time constraints, and access • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and project staff • Ability to develop course prototypes, detailed course scripts, e-learning materials, and interactive content • Experience with selected authoring tools and SCORM-compliant module production • Ability to integrate multimedia and interactive elements while ensuring technical functionality, accessibility, and platform compliance • Experience with quality control, copy-editing, translation coordination, and learning management systems • Ability to design learner analytics and conduct pilot testing • Ability to analyze learner feedback and evaluation data • Ability to manage assessments and certification processes • Consultancy engagement
