📋 Description

• Develop new features or modules with great quality and own them, following software engineering best practices and principles • Efficiently use development toolset, follow code standards and team-agreed rules • Provide robust test coverage both unit and integration for new features • Investigate and fix application bugs • Track errors and performance • Provide technical documentation • Work closely with the Product Owner or Manager, Backend team and UX designers to deconstruct complex product features and high-level requirements into well-defined, modular and shippable engineering tasks • Create clear and concise technical work breakdowns that can be understood and executed by any member of the team, regardless of their seniority • Mentor middle and junior teammates

🎯 Requirements

• Solid understanding of fundamental Computer Science concepts • Experience developing apps using Clean architecture principles • Strong hands-on experience using Kotlin, writing apps with low memory footprint, experience with multi-modular apps • Deep knowledge of UI development • Strong grasp of Android development tools such as Android Studio and profilers • Strong knowledge of DI concepts • Ability to rapidly mock up proposed user experiences and interactions • Deep understanding of multithreading • Deep understanding of Android architecture including multi-module, DI and MVVM • Proficiency in building UI with Jetpack Compose • Knowledge and experience with experimentation and A/B testing • Able to work independently, taking responsibility for the technical delivery of key technical initiatives within a given workstream • Experience in writing unit, integration and UI tests • Experience with CI and CD systems • Experience with the configuration of the release process • Have a good sense of UI and UX
