📋 Description

• Develop gameplay systems, mechanics and features using Roblox Studio and Luau • Build scalable systems for live Roblox experiences • Create progression, economy and player engagement features • Implement UI, audio and visual systems where required • Optimise performance across client and server • Debug and improve existing systems • Collaborate closely with artists, designers and founders • Take ownership of features from concept through release

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience building successful Roblox games. • Proven track record of shipping live Roblox experiences with large player communities (typically tens of millions of visits or significant concurrent player counts). • Experience owning major gameplay systems from concept through to live release. • Strong technical judgement with the ability to make architecture and gameplay decisions independently. • Deep understanding of gameplay feel, player retention, progression systems and technical game design. • Experience working on long-term live products rather than short-lived prototypes or hobby projects. • Ability to rapidly prototype, iterate and polish gameplay based on testing and feedback. • Comfortable taking ownership of complex technical problems with minimal direction. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a small, senior team. • Full-time availability or a contractor intending to transition into a permanent role. • UK-based and able to work remotely. • Experience with UI, audio, VFX, optimisation, tooling, LiveOps or large-scale Roblox experiences is highly valued.
