📋 Description

• Design, build, and lead mobile applications for iOS and Android • Maintain code and automate applications • Deliver app releases independently in a fast-paced environment • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness • Guide software architecture and technology decisions with team members • Mentor team members, document processes, and share knowledge • Follow software engineering best practices in coding, architecture, and testing • Lead end-to-end development, architecture, delivery, and technical growth across Android and iOS platforms • Translate business and product requirements into wireframes and solution designs • Manage priorities and dependencies to meet committed release dates • Set and uphold standards for code, testing, and end-user experience • Collaborate with product, design, QA, and back-end teams • Use AI tools to generate designs and code faster • Manage, coordinate, and work effectively with a six-member team based in India

🎯 Requirements

• Around 8+ years of experience with app development and team leadership • Experience developing customer-facing B2C applications is good to have • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements • Ability to work well with others, learn on the job, and thrive in a dynamic work environment • Focus on user-oriented development, supporting services, and end-user satisfaction • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Familiarity with CI/CD testing, tooling, and processes • Experience with performance and memory tuning using different tools • Demonstrated experience leading Android and iOS app development through app store release • Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and creating wireframes or prototypes • Understanding of B2C application challenges, including scale, device fragmentation, app store compliance, user retention, and data privacy • Well versed with AI tools and AI-assisted development • Able to communicate in most of the following languages: English, French, Spanish and/or Portuguese • Proven experience managing and coordinating distributed teams across Europe, India, US, and South Africa • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
